Addison Busts & Profiles

Cyan addison and Spamton's primary friend, and later partner, from my fanfic Voicemail.

This one in particular is named Emil.

Emil's the kind-hearted and soft-spoken team lead for Spamton's department which pertains to sending emails to potential clients and coming up with concepts and pitches for the advertising division.

Addisons at work tend to only see Emil in a chipper mood. In truth and in private, he's a depressed high-functioning alcoholic with a chronic fear of abandonment.

Before working at such a subpar facility, Emil composed numerous high-end jingles for various companies and is an expert pianist. In his spare time, he loved singing karaoke before suffering an injury that permanently left his voice raspy and hoarse. He also used to enjoy playing piano, but now refrains despite having the instrument in his apartment. Same goes for TV and radio unless they're VHS or a record.

Being a team lead, it's in Emil's nature to try and compromise and work things out with those who are having issues with others in the group or him directly. Even if it's to a fault.

Despite dressing professionally, Emil often appears mildly disheveled, with a submissive demeanor. This is largely due to his depressive state and alcoholism. He wears makeup in public to hide some facial scars and prefers long-sleeved garments, even in spring and summer.

This one is named Trigger and is one of Spamton's prior "friends" from my fanfic Voicemail.

Trigger's a charismatic braggart with a sneer to match. His talents in advertising and getting his way match his pompous pride so he has no issue with putting either on display.

Despite his sharp wit and charm, Trigger is sensitive and easily rattled although he uses satire to conceal it. When push comes to shove, however, or if he's been bested, Trigger won't hesitate to put the perceived offender in their place.

He quickly escalated from advertising for Cungaderos to becoming a cinematographer for Cyber City's number one rated salesmen of 1992 and 1993. That being a pink addison named Banner, who owns Banner's Boutique; a fashion and cosmetics agency.

Trigger's weekday hobbies include going to the local bar and grill with his friends Popper ( coworker ) and Emil while tolerating Spamton's presence. For weekends he's normally romancing other men in and out of his place of work for a quick thrill.

Technically should've done big shot Spamton after addison Spamton BUT I was itching to do puppet Spamton.

Wanted to make him look a bit more worn down and have his "happy" blush marks be slightly in the shape of tears.

I like the idea of the bigger person in the relationship who's more calm and collected sleeping like a wild animal and constantly kicking their smaller partner off the bed all night.

Won't delve much into Emil's lore because that's what the fic's for, but hopefully him being an upbeat and chill guy comes through his design and pose.

Spamton Spam Doodles

Been a hot minute since I've posted on my blog! 

In that time, a lot of changes in my life have occurred, some good, mostly bad, but the good that remains has kept me stable and focused. 

Due to those life circumstances, a new unintended hyperfocus spawned during a troubling period dating to around mid-September of last year. Based on the title of this post, you can discern who that is.

This post will be updated with Spamton's model sheets once done. Index they will be: Postman Spamton, Addison Spamton, Big Shot Spamton, and Puppet Spamton.

Thanks to those who continue to entertain this space! 

This was his first model sheet I did a while back that I did some hookups on concerning his newer sheets. I like to imagine his first job he sincerely enjoyed was being a postman. After all, his name’s an anagram of “postman”.

Even though a lot of people treated him poorly and it slowly wore down his resolve, he kept at it and for the most part loved it until he was assaulted and due to ptsd was forced to resign and work in the basement as “the email guy”.  
  

The ads were super fun to do. Was interesting trying to replicate that early to mid-90s popup era I grew up with. Fun fact about the one with yen: I did my best to find an inflation calculator from American to Japanese currency around early 1995, when my story takes place, so that when converted back to American currency for that year it’s $19.97.

As for the “Heaven’s Key” ad I made, it’s based on several things; primarily the cult of Heaven’s Gate alongside Saint Peter’s Keys ( he has two ). Both are referencing Spamton’s obsessions with “heaven” and his need for “the keys to heaven” ( eg keygen and Kris’ heart ). With “heaven” being freedom in his eyes through a mutual death and soul bond of him and Kris.

I imagined that although he’s desperately trying to advertise to others ( but they or someone keeps blocking his attempts ) the ads that are never corrupted are those directly referencing or advertising something pertaining to heaven, keys, souls, and hearts. This is something he eventually picks up on and starts to look into.
